Utility will provide potential rate increase amount to the Board  

November 3, 2023 (SAN ANTONIO) – A special CPS Energy Board of Trustees Meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at 11 a.m. at CPS Energy’s Headquarters, 500 McCullough Ave.  

During this meeting, CPS Energy leaders will provide the Board of Trustees with the plan for the utility’s rate request. The Board of Trustees and the utility’s regulator, the City of San Antonio, will then vote on the rate increase by the end of the year, with the goal of a rate increase going into effect February 1, 2024. 

Public input is available at the beginning of the meeting. To speak during the public comment portion of the CPS Energy Board meeting, please email [email protected] or call 210-353-4662. The public comment registration period begins Friday, November 3, 2023, at 5 p.m. and lasts through Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at 1 p.m.
